Redundant

March 19, 2010

People at work keep asking how I am and I can only reply with.

“I’m redundant!”

Six months until switch off, six month until something new.

And I ponder.

This…

or this

Both have advantages.

Oh the dilemma of the immigrant.

Spent the weekend at a yoga and meditation Women’s Buddhist retreat in Shropshire.  Once again I found the experience incredibly moving on many levels.

It’s so nice to spend time with women.  It’s so nice to spend a weekend working on your own energies.  It’s so nice to spend time in the countryside – the sun even shone and we finally broke above 10deg.

I am becoming increasingly interested in Buddhist philosophy, especially the notion of ‘do no harm’.  So much of what I already do and think slots into the ideals – there is much to ponder.

My peace was slightly shattered upon my return to my London life upon hearing of major changes at work – but even this I have managed to approach with calm.  Let’s say changes are afoot!

In crafty land – I have begun knitting with the Jacob’s fleece and have started a lace shawl with the view to sell – pics to come.
